July COC: Meads

Entry deadline is Friday, July 30, 2010. Judging will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010.

BJCP categories 24, 25, and 26 styles:

* 24A. Dry Mead
* 24B. Semi-Sweet Mead
* 24C. Sweet Mead
* 25A. Cyser
* 25B. Pyment
* 25C. Other Fruit Melomel
* 26A. Metheglin
* 26B. Braggot
* 26C. Open Category Mead

Please bring at least 5 bottles or a growler to the July meeting.

This might be a good one to give a try to using only 5 BJCP or experienced judges on. 5 bottles or a growler of mead is an awful lot to give up....hell, it always pained me to enter two bottles in a comp!

I'll be bringing some. At least I'll find out if mead is really supposed to taste that way.
