I am going to a meeting about Oktoberfest this evening. I hope to have an idea as to the amount we'll need at that point. I still wanted to get a list going as we are only 10 weeks out. (gonna have a separate thread for ABBF) So as I brought up before, last year they sold over 5,000 wrist bands for those that wanted to drink. I could try and do the math and guess how many beers that will equal but it would be a total and complete guess. Needless to say, we'll go through a lot of beer.
No restrictions on style or amount. You will be reimbursed for ingredients. So please, post below style and amounts of any beer you would be willing to donate.

Just got back from the meeting. After discussion with the powers that be, my goal for the festival is 300 gallons. We hit almost 250 with Heritage and this time we pay you back for your kegs. I think we can do it.

I'm sure you'll get a few kegs from me. Right now I have an oaked American stout that'll need to be hit with a bit of IPA to brighten up the hops. It's yours.
Not sure what else though, I have a crapload of stuff to brew in the coming weeks so you'll probably end up getting a quick 10-day turnaround beer like a weizen or something like that.

Put me down for 5 gals Bavaraian Hefe. I've been itching to brew that recipe again.
I'll probably eventually pledge at least 5 more, but to far out to tell with Augusta as well...

Something else we will need for O-Fest is volunteers to work. We'll need a minimum of 3 people, 4 or 5 would be better, there at all times. So thats from Friday night 6-11, all day Saturday, and most of Sunday.
Friday 6 - 11 1 Scott H 2 Jerid S 3 Jim L 4 Andrew L 5 Dave B
Saturday Noon - 5 (subject to change) 1 Sean S 2 Joey C 3 Bob L 4 John G 5 Rick F
Saturday 5 - 11 1 Sean S 2 Mike G 3 Shawn M 4 Tim H 5
Sunday 12-6 1 Jerry 2 John 3 Dan 4 Rick D 5
If you can not work a full shift, thats fine. I'm sure we can find someone else willing to split it or something along those lines. So please, if you are willing to help and donate some time, I would really appreciate it.

Count me in for all day Saturday, but if there is a lot of interest in the Saturday evening shift, I'd work the first shift on Saturday, and then on Sunday as well.

I can work anytime Saturday. The only time I can't work is when the Dachshund races are going on!

I signed up on the paper, but I'll reiterate here. I'll take that 5th slot for Friday Night.
