Count me in for at least one keg of something. It'll probably be a short turn-around ale that I can brew closer to the event. Maybe a Mexican Holiday Ale with blue agave & tamarind.
I'd also like to pour. In for a penny, in for a pound...and to score one of those free tickets, as I think $25 is a bit outrageous for this size event.
I too would like to know what's the scoop on camping out there. The drive back last year was miserable.

Ok, after a couple weeks of phone tage with Steve, I finally spoke with him. There will be a limit this year but it will be a bit higher than I said before. The limit is going to be between 10 and 15. He has a meeting for the festival next week and he is going to bring it up and try to get a firm number but he said we can plan on that. The biggest problem from last year, and this is according to him, some people were coming up with friends and getting them free tickets too. He said that they saw people go up there with a keg, get their free tickets, walk away and then give their friend that same keg and had them go and get a freebie. He also said that someone said "I made the beer but he is carrying the keg so I need 2 tickets". I did not see any of this happen but apparently they (ABBF did). So the deal we worked out is that I have to give them a firm number and they will give us that many tickets.
I also clarified the camping and he said no problems and fires are fine, just keep them in the pits. Any other questions, just let me know.

I will take my name off the pour list to let someone else who hasn't done it yet do it. If we need an extra person, I am more than happy to help out.

I'll apologize in advance because I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but what is the date for this event? I may have something, but it'll depend on the timing.

Got an email today with the official invite to ABBF. Looks like there will be a couple new breweries this year. Nice to see the festival grow. Of course I replied (TO ALL) that we will be there to defend our favorite festival brewery title.

Jim - Did you want me to?
All you would have to do is ask. If you asked, I'd be happy to share the breweries that were invited. Of course they were just invited, no one is committed yet. In fact, thats all the email was; an invite.
