About Us
Hopefully this will clear things up and answer questions new users or potential members have.
We are a group of homebrewers that meet at O’Fallon brewery in O’Fallon MO. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month and the meetings start at 7pm. Our meetings are very informal and anyone is welcome. We ask that you bring beer, either homebrew or a commercially produced craft beer, but it is not required. There is no charge for your first meeting so you can give us a try first. After that, there is a $4 charge per meeting to cover the cost of food. If you decide you like what we offer, you can pay to become a full member. The cost of that is $30 and it replaces the $4 monthly fee.
Some random facts about us that I can’t figure out how to put in a nice neat paragraph so I am just going to list them here in no particular order:
* We have multiple award winning members in this club that are happy to share what they know and answer any questions you may have
* We are the back to back reigning champions of the “Best Brewery Award” at the Augusta Bottoms Beer Festival
* We have our own national competition held in April call the Champion of the Pint. In our first year we have 150 entries and this year we hope to have more than 200.
* We have our own booth, and judging by the crowds, the most popular booth at the St Louis Brewers Heritage Festival
* We participated in the ST Charles Oktoberfest and were able to sell out beers (well, exchanged it for donations) and we raised over $1000 for one of our members charities.
